2001: The seed of an idea
Twenty-five years ago, in the heart of Kodungallur, Mahalakshmi Multispecialty Dental Clinic opened its doors. Our footprint was modest just 600 square feet and a single dental chair attached to our home It was the beginning of a dream coming true for the dentist couple of Dr Mahesh Narayanan and Dr Laju Mahesh, who had limited space, but limitless ambition to excel in their chosen profession.

We now stand in a sprawling 5,000-square-foot facility, a hub of activity powered by committed teamwork across seven state-of-the-art dental units. Yet, while our square footage has multiplied, our measure of success hasn’t changed.
Our proudest achievement isn’t the size of our hospital or the technology within its walls. It is the privilege of having transformed the lives of over 50,000 patients. That is 50,000 smiles restored, pain relieved, and confidence regained.
